India will take on Australia in the final of the World Cup 2023 on 19th November 2023. The match will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
It was a tough journey for Australia to reach the finals considering their first two defeats in the league matches, the narrow win against New Zealand, and Maxwell's magic against Afghanistan. They even struggled during the semi-final even after they managed to reduce South Africa to comparatively a small total. That is Australia and they always put their best game for important areas to win matches. Australia already has 5 ODI World Cup trophies and managed to reach finals eight times. So it is not going to be a difficult situation when taking care of their experience.
India on the other side started with a win against Australia and did well during the entire series. They were quite good with bat and field for most of the series. They were a bit sloppy in the last 2 games. Mainly during the match against the Netherlands and the semi-final against New Zealand. Against New Zealand, we saw a different team when they were cruising with 3rd wicket partnership. But somehow came back strongly to win the match. But they need to be very cautious to give any chance to Australians.
